Having previously toured in support of major events such as Bluesfest and Falls Festival, they are back again and its time to put on your dancing shoes for OZOMATLI.
California Grammy award winners Ozomatli are Latin, Funk, Hip-hop and everything in between. Since forming in 1995, this seven piece groove train and their creativity has dropped seven studio albums all with new sounds and separate concepts. Appealing to the masses Ozomatli percussionist and MC, Justin Poree, puts it, “Anyone who is eight or 80 will recognize “Sabor a Mi” or “Besame Mucho.”
Lucky for us the boys are currently in the studio recording their latest album Ozo-fied Volume 1: A Century of Mexican Classics. Featuring various high profile artists as well as being produced by drum and bass legends Sly & Robbie, this album is a guaranteed banger and a possible hint to what to expect this October.
