A Letter From Flight Facilities

Hey. Hi. Hello!

Jimmy and Hugo from Flight Facilities checking in. Sending love to wherever you might be counting down the days until a fresh year. Amongst all the doom and gloom, we made a 1962-1972 prequel to the Decades Mix series, Jimmy became a dad, Crave You turned 10, we have been finishing off loads of new songs, oh and we made an App… like an actual phone application – Flight Deck. Crazy the things you can get done when there’s no touring!

The app ‘Flight Deck’, hosts over ten years of Flight Facilities music content, that you can’t find anywhere else. It includes mixtapes, bootlegs, edits, DJ sets, remixes and all the dirty little secrets we’ve had hidden from the public eye, all on your device. We will frequently update the App with exclusive content and gems hidden in our old hard drives, such as ‘Crave You’ and ‘With You’ live at our first ever Splendour In The Grass performance in 2013. The ‘Flight Deck’ app is free and always will be. It’s our little way of giving something back to you, our fans. You can download the Flight Deck app below to start listening…

To launch, we’ve made a 1960’s prequel Decade Mix, which you can stream NOW. A decade that was dominated by America’s Motown, and the UK’s rock’n’roll scene. A time that gave the world so much to be unhappy about, yet was filled with so much positivity through music. 1962-1972 endured a war, conscription, assassinations of beloved figures, and it partially predated equal rights for all Americans, with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Reflecting on all of The Decade Mixes we’ve made, this era was, unquestionably, the most world changing. We hope you enjoy this installment of our Decade Mixes. Your responses to them have brought us so much joy, and we’re looking forward to releasing the sequel in 2022.

We’re ready and itching to get back out there. We have new music nearly ready and can’t wait to play a sundown Flight Facilities set with you all. Until then, stay safe – let’s make 2021 a big one. See you sooner than later.
