Lime Cordiale Release Video For New Single ‘Inappropriate Behaviour

Last week Lime Cordiale released brand new track Inappropriate Behaviour and today they share the official video. The clip was made by award winning director Aimée-Lee X. Curran and long-time Lime Cordiale collaborator Jack Sheppard and sees the band attempting to record their new track in the studio, but are being harassed and bullied by The Manipulator, a character played by a child, but who, for all intents and purposes, is a forty year-old woman with no artistic integrity or soul.

STARRING
Lime Cordiale as “LIME CORDIALE”
Bronte Bloxsom as “THE MANIPULATOR”
Matt Potter as “THE JANITOR”
Rob Hinder as “THE ENGINEER”
Guest starring Michael Chugg as “MICHAEL CHUGG”

The Band say of the clip, “The music video plays on the “manipulator” line of the song. We wanted this video to show the whole band in the studio but felt we needed the “manipulator” in there too. You’ve often gotta hold on to your vision in the studio, as much as others might try to sway your opinions. We really don’t keep it together when this 10-year-old shows up and starts telling us what’s what.”

“The song feels really nostalgic to us.” Says Oli, “Something that we would’ve listened to as teenagers in high school or at a house party on the Northern Beaches. The horns in the chorus ended up giving it a bit of a ska feel. It’s like something you want to blast out of your shitty Toyota car speakers in a beach carpark somewhere.”

2019 is proving to be a milestone year for the band, having just wrapped up their twenty-date Australian & New Zealand headline tour which saw them selling out and due to high demand adding multiple new shows. Lime Cordiale’s second-annual music event THE SQUEEZE kicks off at the start of next month before the band head off overseas to play what is a mammoth run of debut UK/EU tour dates where the band will play some twenty-seven back to back shows throughout July and August including headline shows at O2 Academy London, Paradiso in Amsterdam as well as multiple festivals across Europe.
