Adelaide hip hop chiller Allday is killing the game at the moment with a brand new single and film clip, his own headlining national tour and he has also been added to the Splendour In The Grass lineup!
Allday has dropped the video component to latest single In Motion ft Japanese Wallpaper and its very unique. Aussie rapper explains they simply wanted to make something a bit different, “It would have been easy to make one of those “hot couple takes a coastal road trip” videos that are so popular but we decided to make people’s hearts explode instead.”
The video was filmed in Allday’s hometown of Adelaide. It’s set at an innocent high school prom but the gruesome film is not for the faint-hearted. Produced and directed by Nima Nabili Rad for Young Black Youth, it tells a futuristic story of love found and love lost.
In Motion is taken from Allday’s up coming album ‘Speeding’ which is due for release on April 21 via ONETWO – the label spearheaded by ARIA Award-Winner, Illy. It’s available to pre-order now on vinyl, CD and digital via 24 Hundred, JB Hi-Fi Online and iTunes. Showing unwavering love for his fans, Allday is offering everyone who pre-orders ‘Speeding’ the chance to win an invite to one of his special listening parties held in capital cities around the country in April.
