Gravemind Release New Single & Lyric Video For ‘The Death Of Teyolia’

Melbourne’s Deathcore 6-piece Gravemind have just released their brand new single The Death of Teyolia – a caustic, ripping track that tells the story of Teyolia, an Aztec woman torn from the arms of her lover by enemy tribesmen.

Right off the back of its release the boys have debuted the lyric video to match which tells the crux of the story from their lyrics and the accompanying visuals. Gravemind have also announced the release of their very own digital comic books which will further explain the story behind their single in full.

The single, comic book and lyric video are part of how the band aims to tell their stories through their music with more depth. Dylan Gillies-Parsons from the band wrote the comic book, Ren Tu was the colourist and the book was inked by Shen Lim. The lyric video was done by Scott Rudd, adapting the images from the comic into an amazing pastiche of the thematic content of the song.
