Combine EDM, Hip-Hop and Hardcore and chuck them in between a vocally challenging sandwich and you have Issues and their new album Headspace.
Unclean vocalist Michael decided to take a leap of faith on this album by trialling out his role of clean vocalist as well as unclean vocalist.
Reminding me of Ben Barlow from Neck Deep, it was a bold choice to sing clean next to Tyler Carters amazing vocals but some how it just works.
Favourite tack on the album would be Flojo. Super catchy and taking a swing at a more hip hop influenced track, Flojo is a groovy syncopated tune that’ll make you want to run a mile.
I’ve used this album as my workout playlist for the last week and it grows on me every time I listen to it. Perfect when you need motivation or you’re angry its just a super catchy in your face album that get better every time you listen to it.
