Japam Release Filmclip & Announce Mini-Tour

Fresh out of Adelaide is the crazy 5 piece rock band we know as Japam. Due to release there humourlessly titled EP “How’s My EP’ on Friday May 13th, they have added the extra bonus news of a brand new filmclip and a 3 date mini-tour this May.

Taken from their soon to release EP is the film clip to single DK Facepunch. The slightly strange music video you see below is set inside a white Ape medical laboratory which seems random but it fits the song perfectly. With Apes investigating the guys at first and then destroying their gear and them, the music videos action follows the vast tempo changing up beat track that is DK Facepunch.

Japam are a band that combines melodic 90’s pop and rock with the heavy technical groove of modern day djent. Although their musical career is still in its early days, Japam has received a lot of airtime on Triple J’s ‘The Racket’ and ‘Film Clip of the Week’ from Australia’s Heavy Mag. Combining the experience across all 5 members includes support slots for multiple national acts such as Birds Of Tokyo, and covering Van Halen with american group Steel Panther. Japam are the perfect combination of experienced musicians and funky sound that’s sure to get your groove on.

Visiting Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney on their very short 3 day tour the boys are expected to perform a ripper show with supports yet to be announced.

They are fun, energetic and a little strange but they are Japam and they are ready to bring their music to you!

If your first thought wasn’t “What the hell are they wearing on their feet?”

You weren’t paying enough attention!
