Melbourne MC Ben Townsend or better known as Ivan Ooze has just dropped the first track from his highly anticipated EP and it’s title is Bills.
Recently touring as the support for the legends Wu-Tang Clan, Ivan made such an impact with his live performance that he gained praise from the Clan themselves. Cementing a sold relationship with Clan member Ghostface Killah over the course of the tour, the obvious evolution was for the two to do a track together…cue the new track Bills.
Punching Ivan’s repetitive chorus on top of the catchy old school track by Mad Bliss has you getting pumped when Ghostface spits fire as the song draws to a close. With the single having premiered with Dom Alessio on Tuesday’s Home and Hosed, the summer anthem with the signature Ivan Ooze spread is also a tale of hard work and sacrifice to which he is no stranger.
Celerbrating the release of Bills, Ivan is heading on tour this November with experimental hip hop artist Lyall Moloney. Embarking on 7 dates across Australia, Ivan will also be performing at The Plot Festival in Sydney as apart of the tour.
