Seth Sentry’s ‘Super Cool Tree House’ began as a Youtube project last year during lockdown with a weekly challenge. Now its about to become his third studio album set for release on June 18th.
“I asked people to send me beats, some professional producers, some amateurs and every Monday I picked a new one,” the Melbourne native says.
“Then the aim was to write and record a song that week to be released every Sunday.
“Not only was it a great way to kill time during the lockdown, but it really helped reinvigorate my love for straight-up bars. Hardly any hooks, no thought about song structure etc. just straight up raps. I f.kn loved it.”
Set to land 18 June, and currently in the middle of a 4-week sold-out residency at Melbourne’s Evelyn Hotel, Seth has released his newest single Castlevania (the only song on the album not to feature as part of the YouTube series) with an official animated video that vibes Gorillaz.
