English psychedelic pop band Glass Animals have dropped a brand new single Heat Waves, taken from their fast approaching third studio album ‘Dreamland’.
Out of respect and support of the Black Lives Matter movement, Glass Animals third album Dreamland has delayed its release and will now drop worldwide on the revised date of Friday 7 August.
Bursting with all the wonderful tricks that we have come to expect from Glass Animals’ enigmatic front man and producer Dave Bayley, Heat Waves is the introspective, sunshiney hit within Dreamland. A scorching, bass-heavy pop-trip, Heat Waves is a distorted Glass Animals love song, exploring how relationships can blur your personality and change you in ways you don’t even realize until you take a step back.
Heat Waves is accompanied by a stunningly cinematic video which has been directed by Colin Read. It finds Dave Bayley meandering the streets of lock-down London as on-lookers watch him slowly make his way to an empty venue.
