Billie Eilish 18, has broken two records to become the first woman and the youngest person to win the Triple J Hottest 100.
She also had singles all the good girls go to hell, wish you were gay, bury a friend and everything i wanted in the countdown as well making a total of 5 songs out of 100 in the countdown.
The top 10 was full of female solo artists, 5 to be exact. Meanwhile, Thelma Plum became the highest-ranking Indigenous artist in history when her song Better In Blak which came in at number nine. And Hilltop Hoods, at number 10 this year with their single Exit Sign, racked up their 20th song in a Hottest 100.
