Spotify Reveal Front Left Live Show In Melbourne

Spotify announces Florida singer and rapper, Dominic Fike as the international guest at Front Left Live – the returning live playlist event coming to the Forum Melbourne on Wednesday October 9 2019.

Front Left Live will feature some of the world’s most genre-defying artists from near and far, as Dominic Fike joins Tove Lo, who performs exclusively in Australia for the Spotify event, alongside Tones And Igirl in redBENEE and Electric Fields.

Head of Music Culture and Editorial at Spotify Australia & NZ, Alicia Sbrugnera, says “We were thrilled with the response to Front Left Live last year. The goal was to build a stronger Spotify playlist brand, then take it to the stage through a live event; our first major live public event in this region and the first time bringing a playlist brand to life. In doing so we were able to increase the listenership of the Front Left playlist and help over 500,000 fans discover more of the best and most diverse new music than ever before.”

The live showcase-format event is based on Spotify’s Front Left playlist, which boasts over 500,000 followers and has helped break countless Australian artists across the AUNZ market, and abroad, through their extensive global playlist ecosystem.

Evoking the joy in discovering your new favourite song or artist, Front Left Live brings this emotion into the live realm, giving fans and listeners a chance to relive those feelings for one whole evening with their favourite artists.
