Melbourne singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist G Flip has announced her biggest headline shows to date, continuing her incredible upwards trajectory following three sold out Australian tours.
The rising phenomenon will take in Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 8 November, Fremantle’s Freo.Social on Saturday 9 November, Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Friday 15 November, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Saturday 16 November, and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 22 November, in addition to bringing her killer live set to Spilt Milk 2019.
“Australian shows are always the BEST and I’ll definitely be turning it up a notch this time. My beginner nerves are gone now and I’ll be debuting a new show full of HECTIC SHIT 🤪🤪🤪 new tracks, new arrangements and fun surprises here and there. I just wanna have fun with you all and give you a bloody good time”, said Flipo about her upcoming headline tour.
Flipo shared details of her highly anticipated debut album last week and dropped another arresting love song about the Sisyphean nature of her relationship titled Stupid. Her forthcoming ten-track ‘About Us’ LP tells a very human story of heartbreak and reconciliation, of putting on a brave face, attempting to move on and finding your way back together.
Next month, G Flip will head to the US for a tour that includes Lollapalooza before returning home for the next step of the explosive performer’s whirlwind success story; triple j’s One Night Stand, the About Us Australian headline tour and Spilt Milk Festival. All dates listed below.
