Vera Blue Releases New Single ‘The Way That You Love Me’

After teasing new music online last week, Vera Blue today reveals her brand new single The Way That You Love Me.  It was premiered on triple j yesterday and will be performed live for the first time when Vera Blue hits the road next month for her 13-date ‘The Way That You Love Me Tour’.

Vera Blue says of her new single, “This song is the start of a new chapter, a new phase and a new story line. A fresh concept and sound inspired by the experiences and behaviours of loving relationships of people coming in and out of my life. A kind of love that can be taken advantage of or returned in ways that might be difficult to understand at the time. “

The Way That You Love Me was co-written and produced with Andy and Thom Mak whom Vera Blue worked with on her debut album ‘Perennial’. The single was written and recorded over the last few months in a small house overlooking Avoca Beach on the New South Wales Central Coast. 

‘The Way That You Love Me Tour’ will begin on Friday August 30th at the Snowtunes Music Festival in Jindabyne then finish on Sunday October 13th at Magnums Hotel in Airlie Beach. Vera Blue will head to Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart, Geelong, Wollongong, Cairns and Townsville and for the first time, travel to Wodonga, Coffs Harbour and Airlie Beach to perform new songs as well as music from her #6 charting ARIA Album ‘Perennial’ and breakthrough debut EP ‘Fingertips’.
