With more than 45 million streams under their belt, Holy Holy (Timothy Carroll and Oscar Dawson), continue to commandeer new sonic territory as seen throughout their journey from their first EP, to the acclaimed ‘Where The Storms Would Come’ to ‘Pont; – a hit on the Top 10 ARIA Charts.
Now Brisbane Festival and Select Music, in association with The Tivoli, present HOLY HOLY live at The Tivoli, on Saturday 14 September as part of Brisbane Festival, joined by special guest Carla Geneve.
Holy Holy will release of their third studio album, ‘My Own Pool of Light’ (available Friday 2 August via Wonderlick Recordings). This news is paired with the release of album track Frida.
Named after vocalist Timothy Carroll’s daughter, the magnetic Frida discusses the manner in which gender stereotypes are perpetuated in daily life, even down to the books we read to our children. The album track follows on from latest single Teach Me About Dying. First single Faces has been streamed almost 2 million times, claimed the #1 most played position on triple j, received support from the UK’s BBC Radio 1 and was playlisted on Radio X in the UK.
