He blew everyone away when he dropped into the triple j Like A Version studios recently for an original and a cover, and today Allday reveals the sweetly dark video for his track Restless featuring The Veronica’s. The track is from Allday’s upcoming third full length release ‘Starry Night Over The Phone’ which will be released on Friday 12 July.
The Restless video was directed and produced by Rory Pippan who was also behind Allday’s recent Lungs video and has worked on multiple videos with Mallrat, as well as Fergus James and Carmouflage Rose.
Says Allday of the video: “I went back to Adelaide (my hometown) to shoot all the videos for this album and I wanted to capture the desolation and boredom of the place. Growing up in a boring place was fantastic for me because it sparked my imagination; where I’m from is really important to me. We used that as inspiration, and exaggerated a lot of the light and dark aspects of the place for this video.”
