With his current single Wonder Drug on high rotation on radio around the country and showcased during packed out sets at This That and Push Over festivals late last year, Allday has now dropped the single’s striking visuals.
Filmed in LA, where the Adelaide native now calls home, the video weaves a twisted tale filled with head-turning animation and a mind-bending narrative.
Says Allday, “I loved the brightly coloured, cartoonish videos of my youth. We tried to channel that spirit. I’m quietly hoping for an Oscar nom for my incredible acting in the ‘pretending I’m being stung by bees’ scenes.”
Wonder Drug is the first piece of new music from Allday since the release of his second album ‘Speeding’ in 2017, and saw him collaborate with Golden Vessel and Simon Lam (Kllo).
