Sydney’s barnstorming garage-rockers Bleeding Knees Club are proud to unveil a way-out new film clip for their latest single Case. As premiered by KING MOB Magazine (UK), the vid is an animated video game odyssey through microwaved brains, alien abductions and sexed-up roach motels.
Frontman Alex Wall says, “We had a ‘proper’ clip made a little while ago that didn’t turn out quite right, and had all but given up on this one. But then a psycho 17-year old kid from Melbourne offered to make one for 60 bucks!” And yep, from the mind of up-and-coming Melbourne designer Jordan Borg comes this lo-fi yet strangely perverse adventure. Please enjoy responsibly.
The clip’s premiere coincides with a raft of new touring announcements for Bleeding Knees Club. The band will support Nashville punk brawlers Bully on their Splendour In The Grass sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney in July, before heading to Europe in September – including a breakneck run of six UK dates in six days! The motherland was one of the first places to embrace the first incarnation of the band – they were were NME darlings off the back of debut 2012 album ‘Nothing To Do’, and spent part of their formative years living and touring over there. The foursome will also play the mad GetMAD! Festival in Madrid alongside Luna, No Age, La Luz and others, with additional European shows to be revealed.
