American Rapper Hoodie Allen Drops Aussie Tour Dates

Hailing from Long Island New York, rapper Hoodie Allen is set to embark on a long overdue, intimate Australian tour hitting the East Coast this September.
A year since dropping his latest album, ‘The Hype’, Hoodie Allen will take to the stage for highly anticipated ‘one night only’ club shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne before crossing the Tasman for one Auckland show.

 

Hoodie Allen, born Steven Markowitz, is an independent American rapper with four Top Ten hits in Billboard’s Top Rap Albums to his name since launching his now skyrocketing recording career.

 

Raising his profile and showcasing his natural talent via the internet and frat parties, in 2012 Hoodie Allen released his breakout EP ‘All American’ which debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and was later followed by an acoustic version. In October 2014, Allen released his debut studio album, ‘People Keep Talking’,which hit #8 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Rap Albums chart, featuring the singles Movie and Dumb for You along with guest appearances from Ed Sheeran and Alex Wiley.

 

September 2017 saw release of Hoodie Allen’s much anticipated third studio album, ‘The Hype’; 12 tracks featuring lead single, Sushi. The year finished with an extensive headline tour of North America and Europe – The Hype World Tour – and now, finally, it’s Australia’s turn!
