Red Bull Music reveals its second Sydney instalment for 2018, set to visit the heart of Western Sydney on April 14 with a live showcase of hip-hop talent, curated by the beloved One Day crew.
Playing in the abandoned Parramatta Gaol, Canberra-born rapper Turquoise Prince, Brisbane-based powerhouse Jesswar, local emcees Lil Spacely, Big Skeez, and Sydney DJs Yemisul and Nicole Tania will come together for a rare and celebratory evening of music and community, following the Australian Final of Neymar Jr’s Five – a five-a-side global football tournament.
Sporting a vibrant line-up with some of the country’s greatest upcoming hip-hop acts, Red Bull Music invites music-lovers and footballers alike to celebrate the end of an intensive day-long tournament – the National Final of Neymar Jr’s Five. A venue not usually open to the general public, this event offers a special opportunity for people to explore the Gaol and experience live music, plus a simultaneous slice of Sydney history, from within the prison walls.
Attendees may RSVP for $10 entry via redbullmusic.com. Without RSVP, tickets are $15 on the door. Arrive early for special offerings including the option to get a barber cut inside an old prison cell. Bespoke food and drink, and more, to be revealed soon.
