Multi-platinum singer songwriter and global sensation Shawn Mendes has announced he will be bring his Illuminate World Tour down under to arenas this summer.
Touring in support of his sophomore album ‘Illuminate’ (Island Records), which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his second #1 album debut. Current single Mercy has been certified Platinum and has soared to Top 10 on pop radio, and its official video has amassed over 115 million views to date. The Illuminate World Tour follows Shawn’s sold-out 2016 Shawn Mendes World Tour, as well as his sold-out Illuminate release show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
The Illuminate World Tour marks Mendes’ much-awaited return to Sydney after his debut shows last November sold out in just minutes, and his first ever performances in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
Kicking off in Auckland on November 25, Mendes will then head to Brisbane 29, Sydney 1 December, Melbourne 3 and then finishing up in Perth on the 6. Tickets are on sale now!
