Sydney based trio Crystal Cities have just released their third single of 2016 Good Life and it is undoubtedly their best work yet. Described perfectly by none other than Triple J’s Dom Alessio “This sparkles like the sun reflecting off the ocean” This blissful track is a windows down, road trip essential tune this summer.
Good Life is a relaxed indie groove track with tangy guitar notes and strong lyrics. “I don’t wanna die, waiting on the good life”, the message is evidently clear and the tune is a bubbly and infectiously happy one. As described by front man Geoff Rana “Good life is a call out to start living in the present, choose now don’t wait another minute”
The video was shot in Crystal Cities hometown of Newtown, probably the only place in Australia where an indie band member dressed up as an astronaut can have a conversation at the bus stop as if just you‟re average Tuesday. The sun drenched afternoon & hilltop back drop set the perfect scene for this dreamy clip.
