Columbus Release Film Clip & Australian Headline Tour

As the days get warmer and the daffodils start to bloom, alt-punk outfit Columbus have announced the release of their debut album ‘Spring Forever’. Riding off the back of the news, Columbus have also announced they will be hitting the road this month.

‘Spring Forever’ will be heralded in by Raindrop, a song about love, relationships and how a single event can tear it all down, leaving nothing but fond memories, regrets and the realisation that nothing lasts forever.

“It’s an album about love, getting older and coming to terms with losing someone at a time when you’re still learning things about yourself,” says guitarist & vocalist Alex Moses. “As I was writing the album, the references to seasons came very naturally – I sometimes feel like I have to fight through the cold, the winter and the hard times to get to the Spring.

Kicking off in Perth on October 21, the boys will continue on to make an appearance at Yours & Owls Festival’s Rad Bar in Wollongong, before finishing off with 2 shows in their hometown Brisbane on the 12 and 13 of November.

Joining Columbus on tour for every show apart from two shows in WA is Horror My Friend and PLTS.

Tickets are on sale now and don’t forget to check out ‘Spring Forever’ available through iTunes and 24 hundred.
