PUP Announce 2016 Aussie Tour

Toronto punk rockers PUP have announced they are heading down under with the release of a series of east coast dates in Australia this October.

Touring in support of their recently released album The Dream Is Over, It’s been said by NPR Music that PUP have moved beyond their punk beginnings and turned into an anthemic and unhinged pop band. Named after the first thing doctors told lead singer Stefan when examining his damaged vocal chords, The Dream Is Over is heavily influenced by the years and mayhem the band endured on the road. Stefan was advised to give up music all together but instead of admitting defeat, PUP has decided to hit the road again and their bringing their new sound to Australia.

Kicking off PUP’s highly anticipated tour will be Newcastle on October 1st and wrapping it up will be everyone’s favourite Melbourne on October 6th. Don’t miss out on the chance to catch PUP on the road so check out all tour dates and ticketing information below.

If This Tour Doesn’t Kill You, I Will.

“The four of us in PUP, we’re like brothers. We love each other. But, listen. If you spent 10 months of the year sharing beds and floors with your 3 idiot brothers, sitting in a van 6+ hours a day, every day, trying to annoy the shit out of one another, eating, breathing, shitting, always within hearing range of one another, day in and day out, you’d want to kill them too”.
