Punakaiki Pancake Rocks & Blowholes

We were hoping for a windy and slightly overcast day so that the Blowholes would look their best, But instead it was a beautiful sunny day with light winds which couldn’t have been more opposite. Luckily the Blowholes were still in full swing and I managed to catch one of them on the footage you see below.

 

Below is a picture of only some of the many Pancake Rocks that cover the Putai area in New Zealand. The Pancake Rocks are 30 million year old limestone formations that have been crafted and shaped by the ocean.
