After a swim in the Hamner Springs Hot Pools Ben & I went climbed Conical Hill. It took around 30 minutes to complete and ended up on the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the Hamner township and surrounding mountainous landscape.
I procrastinated climbing it in the first place because I’m lazy and probably hungry but it was beautiful and definitely worth the climb in the end. Cameras never really capture the beauty that is NZ landscape but here’s a few pictures we manages to scrap together from the walk up and the end location.
A little cold on the walk up so I recommend a jumper but the hot sun and light wind made for a very nice temperature at the top. The walk is quick, sweet and takes you to a beautiful location so if you’re ever in Hamner climb Conical Hill!
